How to best care for your jewellery
- Clean jewellery at home with lukewarm water, a small amount of mild soap, and a very soft brush. Dry each piece with a lint-free cloth.
- Store pieces separately whenever possible. Polished surfaces, gemstones, and metal edges can mark one another in travel pouches or jewellery boxes.
- Remove rings and bracelets before exercise, swimming, household tasks, or any activity that may knock, pull, or abrade the piece.
- Apply perfume, body products, hairspray, and makeup before putting jewellery on so residue does not settle into settings or polished metal.
Looking after delicate settings
- Stone-set, pavé, articulated, and lighter-profile pieces benefit from gentler day-to-day handling between wears.
- Avoid sleeping in delicate earrings, necklaces, cuffs, or gemstone-led styles, and make sure clasps and hinges are closed before storage.
- If a clasp, hinge, post, or setting ever feels loose, stop wearing the piece and let our atelier inspect it before further wear.
How to best care for your jewellery box
- Keep presentation and heirloom boxes away from direct sunlight, humidity, and strong heat sources so finishes, linings, and fittings remain stable.
- Dust lightly with a soft dry cloth and avoid saturating timber, fabric, or embroidered surfaces with liquid cleaners.
- Store heavier pieces separately inside the box so chains, soft finishes, and decorative linings are protected from friction over time.
